Jess LaFrank

Full-stack engineer

Hi, I'm Jess.

I'm an engineer with over a decade of business and leadership experience.

I’ve said yes to a lot of opportunities in my life. Yes to coaching, yes to database management, yes to managing websites, and even yes to accounting. The common thread I’ve identified that runs through my journey is a love for leadership, asking the right questions, and solving interdepartmental problems.

As an athlete, I have forged some of my key values through sports: teamwork, goal-setting, and grit. I've learned that coding lights up the same parts of my brain as working out a complex training plan for an athletic season.

When I'm not coding, you can find me rollerskating around Oakland, or hanging out with my geriatric pup named Scout.
